But do understand that at that moment still around 100,000 Dutch people were kept interned in Japanese internment camps (Jappenkampen) spread out in the Dutch East Indies / Indonesia. That would end in August, but was there a true liberation? Find out more, because in this video I will talk about the end of WW2 in the Dutch East Indies. After this the Indonesian War of Independence (Politionele Acties) would kick off.
