YouTube Description
as posted by the channelFrancesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories revealed the human rights body’s report highlighting the role of multinational companies helping Israel committing genocide in Gana. Albanese said "If the genocide has not stopped, it's not just because there has always been an economy of occupation, it's because the economy of the occupation has turned into an economy of genocide.” The United Nations Special Rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories has presented a deeply troubling picture of the ongoing conflict in Gaza, saying that several multinational corporations are aiding Israel’s occupation and military campaign, contributing to what she described as an “economy of genocide.” During a press conference held in Geneva, Francesca Albanese named over 48 global corporations as complicit in the violations of human rights in Gaza, and the broader occupied Palestinian territories. The list included prominent U.S. tech giants like Microsoft, Google’s parent company Alphabet, and Amazon.
