Bhatnagar alleges the evidence shows federal agents targeted people based on their appearance, while a review of 113 warrantless arrests found that nearly 80% either lacked an escape-risk assessment or relied on boilerplate language.
The ACLU is asking a federal judge to block unlawful warrantless arrests and require the Trump administration and ICE to comply with federal law, putting ICE abuse, racial profiling, warrantless arrests and government accountability at the center of the legal fight.
