WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA), Chair of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, and Representatives Bob Dold (R-IL), Elizabeth Esty (D-CT) and Kathleen Rice (D-NY) will be joined by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and Captain Mark Kelly, the Co-Founders of Americans for Responsible Solutions, to announce the introduction of bipartisan legislation aimed at keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and the dangerously mentally ill.
