It all started when I realized I spent a whopping $1,600/year on Starbucks. As crazy as it may sound, I’m sure I’m not the only one and I highly encourage you to track your spending using apps like Mint.com.

As someone who tries to be financially savvy, I wanted to know how I can save it, while still getting a great cup of coffee. Unfortunately, I could not find a single clear video on how to brew the perfect Starbucks coffee so I figured why not make one myself. So in this video, I’m going to show you guys how to brew the perfect Starbucks coffee and after that, I will explain how this act alone will save me $113k, so make sure you watch all the way to the end. To brew the perfect coffee you're going to need a few things:

A Starbucks French press✅

Starbucks coffee✅

Water Kettle✅

- And of course, water, cream, sugar, And any syrups you like

Step 1: Boil the water

- Starbucks recommends 2 tablespoons for every 6 fluid ounces. For this video, I will make 12 fluid ounces of coffee.

Step 2: While that’s boiling, I’m going to get the ground coffee ready in the French press. Because we’re making 12 fl ounces of coffee, we need 4 tablespoons of ground coffee with our water.

Step 3: Once the water hits 200 degrees, we’re going to put it over our coffee beans and put the cap on. Now we let it sit for 4 minutes

Step 4: Push the press down slowly, and BOOM we are done with our coffee. You can use whatever cream, sugar, or syrup you prefer and trust me, it tastes pretty dang similar to Starbucks coffee.
