Maria Vaccarella explains last summer; a squirrel in her neighborhood had babies and then ran off. Vaccarella felt she had no choice but to take them in and care for them. At one point Vaccarella says she contacted a professional rehabilitator but they told her to keep the squirrels for now. So, Vaccarella started posting the rodent's progress on Facebook, state officials saw them and came knocking. #InsideEdition
