Colin Toland has been battling brain cancer since he was 2 and told the Police Chief he dreamed of becoming a police officer. Officers lined up to salute the boy and his 4th grade class cheered him on as he took his oath from the mayor, who also declared it 'Colin Toland Day' in Ithaca to honor the boy's fighting spirit and the inspiration he's given to the community. While Colin's future is uncertain, he was happy he got to live his dream for one day. #InsideEdition
