Extreme temperatures caused the power at a Houston local news station to go out twice in one day during its live broadcast. The blackout is being blamed on a heatwave impacting power grids across numerous cities in Texas. The first blackout happened during KTRK Houston's 3 p.m. show broadcast. The second occurred during its 5 p.m. show. But the station's meteorologist Travis Herzog took it in stride.
