Authorities say the pair were enjoying an end-of-summer lobster fishing trip when their boat hit rocks and started to sink. Two officers were on patrol when they got the call about the sinking boat. They spotted the elderly dad and his adult son hanging on to their cooler which doubled as a flotation device. The officers saved the father first then his son.
