1:14Now PlayingBody camera video shows a woman who was pulled out of an icy canal by the Buffalo Police Department. Authorities say a woman fell into the water near Bird Island Pier, and was kept afloat by her husband. Once she got to the edge of the water, the woman was reluctant to be pulled onto the ice-covered shore. The woman’s sister reportedly walked out onto the ice, and she went to save her. Even in the winter season, the Buffalo Police commissioner said, “All ice should be considered not safe.”
