Initially, she posted on social media that she was happy with the results, but she says when the bandages came off, she knew something was wrong. When Johnson shared her story on social media, she was flooded by other women who claim they went through similar scenarios. Now, she and 29 other women have filed a lawsuit against Dr. Mowlavi, accusing him of botching their surgeries and allowing unlicensed members of his staff to perform medical procedures. Dr. Mowlavi denies all the allegations in the lawsuits filed by the women and has filed a defamation suit against Johnson accusing her of making false statements against him for her own financial gain, claims she denies. Since Dr. Mowlavi has filed for bankruptcy, both lawsuits are on hold.
