A Soviet-era Russian jet was scheduled to perform in the Thunder Over Michigan Air Show, about 30 miles from Detroit, but an emergency struck while it was in the air. The National Transportation Safety Board says the pilot noticed a loss of power. Once the engine failed, the two people onboard ejected from their seats and landed with their parachutes in Belleville Lake.
