1:14Now PlayingJim Abernethy has been exploring the waters off the coast of the Bahamas for decades and even became friends with a 15-foot tiger shark. The shark, named Emma, befriended him after he pulled fishermen's hooks out of her mouth. Tiger sharks are said to be aggressive predators but he says Emma is not like that. She even gently nudges him when she recognizes him under the sea. Abernathy says he communicates with Emma using specialized hand signals and says Emma has never acted aggressively towards him.
