In September of 2024, the Los Angeles Police Department says Aguilar was shot during a robbery attempt. Three of the four suspects have been charged in the crime. He was treated for his injuries for months, and on December 21, Aguilar died surrounded by his loved ones. Aguilar leaves behind a wife and 2 daughters. He was 43 years old.
