Should be obvious by this point I'm either CRAZY smart or plain old crazy, and in this video I wanted to talk about the second mobile home park that I bought quite some time ago, and the situation that led to 140+ trailers being bulldozed and cleared for a luxury apartment developer. I thought back then this might be a little too controversial, but now with everyone wanting endless content, and this is a pretty great story overall.
This whole 2nd park buy (Trailers only) was under $60k and the cost to tear down and move them to my park was a good bit more than the cost of the actual trailers themselves. This whole thing has been a long process, but in general I wanted to show the sort-of economic side of it as I've seen so much anger at the apartment developer (And the trailer park owner) for doing what made best business sense, even if it meant evicting people in the process. Alot of you enjoyed my recent post office videos concerning gentrification and the role that real estate investors play in market dynamics, so this is kind of in that same thought process.
