YouTube Description
as posted by the channelHis fast swim hid a major flaw. This video breaks down a BUD/S candidate's training, fixing his running and lifting to build a real tactical athlete. Plus, critical advice for dealing with MEPS.
A 6:45 swim is a great start, but it doesn't mean you're ready.
In this coaching call, I break down a candidate's solid PST scores and we immediately find some major holes in his training: he's not running and he's not lifting to address his pull-ups.
We fix that. I lay out a complete, 3-day total body lifting program and explain why building a running base of at least 21 miles a week is non-negotiable, even for a guy who can naturally run fast. If your body isn't hardened to the volume, it will fall apart at BUD/S.
We also cover the critical, behind-the-scenes stuff: how to deal with enlisted vs. officer recruiters, what you should NEVER tell them at MEPS, and why your backup plan says a lot about your mindset.
In this video, we cover:
The right way to navigate conversations with recruiters.
The most important rule for what NOT to bring or say at MEPS.
A complete lifting program to increase strength for push-ups and pull-ups.
Why you MUST run at least 5-6 times a week, even if you're fast.
How to use stride length exercises to improve running efficiency.
Why your backup plan matters (Air Force golf courses vs. Army grit).
Does being short (5'5") hurt you at BUD/S?
If you're getting ready for a SOF pipeline, this is how you identify the weak points in your training and address them before they become a problem.
