Gwen Ifill is taking questions from YOU! This time, Gwen shares how she handles covering so much bad news.

"You have to be serious. You have to tell people the news as it is. But occasionally when you're talking about how politicians work and how politics works, it's OK to have a sense of humor about it," Gwen says. "It always help to let your personality through."

Plus, Gwen shares advice for young journalists looking for their first job.

"What I didn't know at 22 is you have to be as broadminded as possible," Gwen says. "There are so many more platforms, so many other ways of covering the news that your opportunities are broader. You should never foreclose the possibility that one thing can lead to another."
