Vance, Maddow revealed, named his investment firm after a Lord of the Rings term, just like his mentor, right-wing billionaire Peter Thiel. So clearly this means Vance is a dangerous member of the alt-right. At least according to Maddow.
Jimmy points out that Maddow’s fellow shitlib Stephen Colbert is also a huge LOTR fan, so that must make him a crazy right winger as well, right?
