Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson suggests that Russia's collapse in the 1990s and recovery under Putin offers a model for how societies can emerge from "totalitarian" systems, but warns that America must first pass through a "very dark time.” Jimmy concludes that those who voted for Biden or Harris have no moral superiority over Trump voters, pointing out that Democrats crushed a railroad strike, forced experimental medical treatments on workers, started a proxy war with a nuclear power, and funded a genocide—and that the only way to escape the oligarchy is for workers to rise up with a single demand: publicly funded elections.
