Freeland, who was part of the government that froze Canadian truckers' bank accounts and called them Nazis while forcing experimental medical treatments, appears stunned and silently takes the abuse—a reaction Jimmy finds deeply satisfying.
The hosts note that Freeland's grandfather was a Nazi, that she is now the incoming CEO of the Cecil Rhodes Trust, and that her book event was titled "Chrystia Freeland on globalization: how it all went wrong and why it's worth saving." Kurt concludes that Freeland and her ilk are completely out of touch and "don't give a fuck what you think about anything," which is why they never see confrontations like this coming.
