Jeff Bridges FREAKS OUT Over Hantavirus Cruise Ship!

Jeff Bridges calls in to The Jimmy Dore Show to express concern about a cruise ship quarantined due to a hantavirus outbreak, advocating for keeping the vessel at sea "until the whole thing blows over" because he cannot endure another pandemic after going through cancer and lockdowns. Jimmy explains that hantavirus is not as contagious as COVID and that the cruise originated in South America, where the world's largest rodent—the capybara—carries the virus, which leads Bridges to reconsider his fear since he "digs their whole vibe."

Bridges remains distrustful of authorities, however, citing the COVID lab leak theory and noting that what was once considered racist to say about the virus's origin is now acceptable to discuss openly. The call ends with Bridges declaring he will stay inside for a year to be safe, and Jimmy gently reminding him that not every news story is connected, including a separate incident about a man who ran onto a Denver tarmac and was killed by a 747.
