In this talk, Nobel laureate Sir Roger Penrose speaks about how retrocausality must somehow be a part of whatever version of quantum mechanics evolves. According to his line of thinking, there must be a gravitization of quantum mechanics -- rather than a "quantum gravity" model.
Saying this is remarkable, given that he is the founder of quantum gravity
How does this relate to consciousness? He brings in Benjamin Libet's work on anticipatory physiology, which suggests that prior to conscious awareness of a decision, our brains have already made the unconscious decision.
Personal NoteMy work suggests Libet's readiness potential is likely precognitive in origin a retrocausal reflection of the future event rather than an unconscious capturing of free will. See
