Rand Paul isn't too upset about his volunteer stomping on a 23-year-old woman already restrained on the ground. But when it comes to defending BP, Paul is speaking truth to power. If not Rand, who? If not now, when? If you prick BP, do they not bleed? Or gush millions of barrels of petroleum?

Please please help prevent the election of Rand "I have some questions about the Americans with Disabilities Act" Paul.

It's really touching to see Rand Paul put his neck out for the little guy, the little guy being BP, against the man, the man being the "unAmerican" Obama who dared to put his "boot on the neck" of the poor, voiceless, powerless multinational. While Rand, showing the limitless compassion the Libertarians are known for, anthropomorphizes the fourth largest company in the entire world, which is responsible (only most recently) for 11 deaths and still unimaginable environmental degradation, Rand has no problem accepting and keeping money from his volunteer coordinator and donor who literally put his foot on the head of a young woman who was already being restrained on the ground.

This is a little ernest for me, but I couldn't help doing juxtaposing the two videos and was struck by the almost clairvoyant Freudian slip Rand commits as he criticizes foot stomping as unAmerican. It's like he has a hidden conscious that sees the future.

FYI, Obama is guilty of the blame game, according to Rand, because sometimes accidents happen, am I right? Who's with me? Rand even applies his no use crying over spilled milk attitude to mining accidents as if they are natural disasters which have nothing to do with the corporate bottom line. Well, Rand does want to get rid of OSHA and the EPA, so you can't call him inconsistent. If there is any karma at all. Where are the poor, black, disabled, mining libertarians, by the way?

Anyway, enjoy. Sorry about the rant. And obviously, vote for Jack Conway and not Rand Paul.
