As this video shows, Perry executed an innocent man despite knowing the evidence was bogus. We'll never know how many innocent people have been killed in the U.S. since the reinstitution of the Death Penalty but we do know of at least 10 cases. Sept 21st, Troy Davis is scheduled to be executed. The case against him is based on eye witness testimony but 7 of the 9 eyewitnesses have recanted their statements.
