He is Laureate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Arizona and Institute Professor Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Prof. Chomsky has focused on matters of mass media, neoliberalism, capitalism, foreign policy, environmental policy, and workers' rights. He identifies as an anarcho-syndicalist and anarcho-socialist.
