10:47Now PlayingLA-based comedian Kylie Brakeman, who was recently named to Wesley Morris and A.O. Scott's Great Performers issue for "The New York Times,” joins Katie Halper and regular Sunday cohost Jack Allison to get into the case of liberals making piles of money off of Trump’s presidency. This is not news to anyone, but we have recently learned of certain “Leftists” who’ve made piles of money shilling (tweeting and podcasting and YouTubing) for Biden.
The transparency of their actions is … extremely questionable. “Brooklyn Dad Defiant” is apparently a whole freakin enterprise, which is not something that is made clear by the mere fact that he included that he was an advisor to Really American PAC in his Twitter bio.
Ben Dixon is also an advisor to Really American PAC, and we view a video of Brooklyn Dad and Ben having a conversation about their totally not-financially motivated decisions to go to work for this PAC (they each made tens of thousands of dollars). Now that everyone knows about it, Ben and Brooklyn Dad would like to explain that it was just about getting Trump out of office and they didn’t even like Biden to begin with. Well … okay.
It turns out that Brooklyn Dad Defiant is less like the image he projects online and more like … a Brooklyn dad. Just having a beard and a chat and writing an anti-Trump book like any other Brooklyn dad might. Sad.
