Best-selling, Award-winning Palestinian novelist and activist Susan Abulhawa talks about the Oxford Union debate on Israel's genocide where she debated Yoseph Haddad and Mosab Hassan Yousef, two Israel-defending 'Arabs': They have  "no place in the Oxford debates.These are not thinkers. They're not academics. They're not writers. They're not politicians. They're just these angry brutes who yell and scream. And they literally have blood on their hands." Susan also says that that Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef is "working out his daddy issues" when he called Palestinians "the most pathetic people on planet earth."

Susan Abulhawa is an award-winning Palestinian-American writer, human rights activist and animal rights advocate. Her first novel, Mornings in Jenin, was translated into 32 languages and sold more than a million copies, making her the most widely read Palestinian author of all time. Her second novel, The Blue Between Sky And Water, was sold in 19 languages before its release, and was published in English in 2015. Against the Loveless World, her third novel, was released in August 2020, also to critical acclaim. Susan is the founder of the NGO Playgrounds for Palestine and and Palestine Writes, the only North American literature festival dedicated to celebrating and promoting cultural productions of Palestinian writers and artists.
