5:17Now PlayingAnton Krasovsky, a Russian TV host for RT and one of the main propagandists, published a pre-recorded interview with Sergey Lukianenko, a writer known for his hateful statements about Ukraine and Ukrainians. Lukianenko told Krasosky about his trip to Ukraine in 1980 when he was a kid. He said that Ukrainian kids told him there that Ukraine was occupied by moscovites, and it could’ve lived much better without Russia.
Krasovsky reacted with a smirk: “Well, just drown those children, drown them in the Tysyna river." Alternatively, he said, they could be shoved into huts and burned.
Again — the interview was pre-recorded, so obviously, after the editing, they watched them and kept the statements.
However, although there is a lot of hate speech on Russian TV, even for them, it seemed too much. Margarita Simonyan, the head of Russia Today, said that Krasovsky's comments were "wild and disgusting". Russia's Investigative Committee is now investigating them. Krasovsky himself apologized, saying "well, it happens: you're on air, you get carried away, and you can't stop". He said he was "embarrassed".
