The Ohio Highway Patrol said the suspect, 42-year-old Ricky W. Shiffer, was allegedly armed with an AR-15, body armor and a nail gun. Authorities said Shiffer had been known to the FBI because he had an unspecified connection to the Jan. 6 capitol riots.
