19:51Now PlayingThis episode of "Justice Rules" recaps the murder case involving the former Carolina Panthers wide receiver Rae Carruth in 1999. A woman pregnant with Carruth's unborn son, Cherica Adams, was shot four times in a drive-by shooting by Carruth's associate. Adams died from her injuries and the unborn infant was saved with an emergency C-section. Carruth was sentenced to 18-24 years in prison after being found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle and using an instrument to destroy an unborn child. Carruth was released in 2018 after serving 19 years behind bars.
