Petito was found dead in 2021 after taking a cross-country road trip with her fiancé and going missing. After a national manhunt, Laundrie was found dead one month later from a self-inflicted gunshot wound with writings confessing to Petito’s murder. The Petito family is suing the Laundries in a civil suit alleging they knew Gabby was dead and withheld information during the investigation. The Law&Crime Daily team has the latest developments.
