Bodycam footage from a traffic stop at a Texas "Buc-ee's" gas station has led to an internal affairs investigation into police officer Scott Harrell. The video, which gained notoriety after being posted on Christopher Shull's YouTube and Facebook accounts, shows Harrell allegedly violating Shull's rights during the stop. Shull claims that the "power tripping" cop was looking for any reason to cite him for allegedly speeding through the parking lot and cutting through parking spaces on the private property.

In the footage, Officer Harrell can be heard telling Shull that he won't ticket him because he ran out of tickets. However, the situation escalates when Harrell places Shull in handcuffs and detains him in the back of the police cruiser for three minutes before releasing him. Shull was ultimately cited after another officer arrived with a ticket book. In a recent development, Shull revealed to the Law&Crime Network that he received a letter in the mail on Friday stating that the citation had been dismissed. Meanwhile, Officer Harrell remains under investigation and has been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of the internal affairs probe.
