Wilson, a professional cyclist, went out with her friend and fellow pro cyclist Colin Strickland for a swim and dinner before he dropped her off back at the apartment. Wilson's friend came home after a night out and found the cyclist dead from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators immediately contacted Strickland the next day and informed him of the tragic news, but they knew he wasn't a suspect.
