32:14Now PlayingWhen Michael Shaver’s friends reported him missing in 2018, they hadn’t heard from him in three years. During that time, prosecutors in Lake County, Florida allege his wife, Laurie Shaver, had killed Michael and buried him under a concrete slab in her backyard. Laurie had reportedly been impersonating her husband online and through text messages for months. Shaver’s defense team has pointed to alternate suspects for the killing, including the defendant’s own 7-year-old daughter. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber spoke with Shaver’s defense attorney Jeffrey Wiggs, who had brand new information about who could be at fault.
