Authorities said Matthew Farwell allegedly groomed Sandra Birchmore while she was underage and participating in the Stoughton Police Department’s Explorers program. Birchmore later gave Farwell an ultimatum, telling him he needed to get her pregnant or she would go public with the scandal. Birchmore was found dead in her Canton apartment in February 2021.
