24:50Now PlayingA 28-year-old Oregon middle school math teacher and Army captain, Reece Sorenson, is accused of brutally abusing his six-week-old twins, who were hospitalized with broken ribs, bruising, malnourishment, and other serious injuries. Police say Sorenson admitted to stuffing a rag in his infant daughter’s mouth to silence her and squeezing the babies, allegedly telling detectives he was “at his wit’s end.” Despite the disturbing allegations, Sorenson was released from jail the day after his arrest and now faces upgraded charges of first-degree criminal mistreatment, while the twins have since been released from the hospital.
