29:27Now PlayingA quiet Massachusetts community was rocked when David and Renee True were found stabbed to death inside their home after coworkers reported David missing from work and police conducted a welfare check. Their 21-year-old son, Ryan True, later admitted during a police interrogation that he stabbed his father repeatedly and killed his mother after she walked in, claiming he acted in self-defense. Investigators and a jury rejected that explanation, and in May 2025 Ryan True was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
