14:08Now PlayingBodycam footage shows the moments surrounding a Florida man’s arrest at a Melbourne Walmart department store. Police arrived after employees called 911 and reported that a man was erratically driving one of their scooters around the store. When officers confronted Aaron Gregory, they allegedly found a bottle of vodka in his backpack. He hardly spoke to police before being arrested for DUI, refused to submit to a breath test, open container, and disorderly intoxication. The DUI and refusal charges were later dropped, and Gregory pleaded no contest to the lesser charges. Get the full story on this episode of Law&Crime BodyCam.
Other shoppers told Walmart staff that Gregory was crashing into shelves and nearly swerving into them as he cruised throughout the store. Gregory hardly spoke a word while being questioned by police. Once they identified who he was, they took him into custody and gave him medical treatment immediately. Upon arriving at the police department, he allegedly refused to perform a breathalyzer test, resulting in another charge that was later dropped. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail along with fines.
