19:56Now PlayingOn a quiet August night in Flagler County, Florida, deputies were called to a local Target after a woman was caught peeling and swapping price tags off several items in a Target store. What makes it worse? The woman, later identified as Carla Nishikura had her young son with her. When Nishikura rang up her items — which should have cost $270 — her swapped-out-sticker-scheme rung up a total of $19.50. Flager County deputies confirmed they let Nishikura off the hook for another shoplifting attempt in 2023 and court documents show at the time of the crime, she was already on probation for a similar crime in 2023. Nishikura was charged with petit theft and later pleaded no contest. She was sentenced to fines and 60 days in jail. Watch the crime unfold on this episode of Law&Crime BodyCam.
