State Prosecutor, Elizabeth Jones Brown delivered the states closing argument ahead of the triple murder sentencing. Brice Rhodes was found guilty earlier this week of murder, tampering with physical evidence, abuse of a corpse, and receiving stolen property. In her argument, Jones Brown stated to the jurors, “I don’t want you to punish out of passion or anger, but out of justice” encouraging a sentence of “life without the possibility of parole, so that they never have to worry about this again”.
