After two days of deliberating whether or not to release Slender Man stabber Morgan Geyser from a mental institution, the court decided that she was not ready to be released as they believe she is still a danger to herself and others around her. Geyser will continue to be admitted until further notice. Two Wisconsin women were convicted of stabbing their classmate to please the fictional character “Slender Man” when they were just 12 years old in 2014. Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser lured their friend into a wooded area and stabbed her 19 times. Ten years later, Geyser is asking to be released from the psychiatric institute she was sent to after a judge found her mentally ill. Weier was granted a conditional release in 2021 to live with her father.
