As closing arguments continued in the Karen Swift murder trial, defense attorney Daniel Taylor reviewed the timeline from when Karen filed for divorce from the defendant, David Swift, arguing that these actions didn’t lead to her murder. Taylor contended that Karen wasn’t scared of David and didn’t file for divorce because of abuse. David has been charged with premeditated first-degree murder and could face life behind bars.
