Yuri Bukhenik testified that Karen Read ordered seven drinks hours before her then boyfriend, John O’Keefe, was found dead in the snow. Investigators believe Read drove drunk, hit O’Keefe, then ditched him, leaving him to die. Read is currently on trial for O’Keefe’s alleged murder.
