A jury convicted Wilson of first-degree murder for the deaths of Ruiz and Kristine Melton. In his testimony, Romero tearfully listed 13 things he’s accomplished since his mother died, explaining she’s not only missed those things, but there will be so many more things in the future. The jury will now decide whether or not Wilson should be sentenced to life in prison or be sent to death row.
