37:38Now PlayingAs closing arguments continued Monday morning, defense attorney Robert Draskovich maintained that his client, Robert Telles, is innocent, arguing that there isn’t enough evidence to prove Telles is guilty of the gruesome murder of journalist Jeff German. Draskovich stated that German’s DNA was not found at the crime scene, and there was no concrete evidence found in German’s home or vehicle.

Robert Telles is accused of murdering Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German. After German had written several articles about Telles, a public administrator at the time, he was found stabbed to death outside his home in September 2022. Prosecutors claim Telles’ DNA was found under German’s fingernails. Telles has pleaded not guilty and says he was framed for the murder.
