8:26Now PlayingDonna Adelson, the mother of Charlie Adelson, attended a hearing on Friday morning after her defense filed motions to exclude certain evidence in the trial. Donna and her son, Charlie, allegedly hired three people to kill Florida State University professor, Dan Markel. Markel was Donna’s ex-son-in-law who had been in an intense custody battle with her daughter, Wendi Adelson, at the time of his murder. Charlie has already been convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Donna was indicted on criminal charges a week after Charlie was found guilty.
