He is being sentenced for attempted murder after he stabbed his family members and set his house on fire in September 2023. Richards asked his family for forgiveness as he shed many tears. He also said he knows he has caused a lot of disgrace and trauma to his family but his time behind bars has let him realize his failures and work on himself.
