as posted by the channelBefore heading to trial, former South Carolina coroner Christopher Dontell pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and accessory after the fact in the death of Gregory Rice, his lover's estranged husband. Gregory Rice shared four children with Meagan Jackson, who was just convicted of Rice's murder. As part of the plea agreement, Dontell had to testify in the trial against Jackson. Rice was reported missing in October 2020 and his body was found a month later along the Little Pee Dee River. The former coroner faces up to 15 years in prison for conspiracy to commit murder. He also faces up to 5 years behind bars for the accessory charge.
