On Thursday, Tracey Corey, the associate medical examiner who did the autopsy on Tim Smith, took the stand. She discussed his toxicology report. Smith had a normal of amount of Tylenol in his system and an unusually high amount of Diphenhydramine, which is a medication that helps treat allergies or insomnia. Corey also stated that Tim’s cause of death was from lack of oxygen and a broken neck and the manner of death was homicide.
