They are all accused of killing and hiding the body of 12-year-old Jacqueline "Mimi" Torres. Karla and Jonathan are charged with murdering the child. The child’s aunt, Jackelyn, was also arrested for taking part in the abuse the child suffered. Karla and Jackelyn were in tears during the hearing. Jonatan remained stone-faced throughout the entire hearing, and the court erupted as he was escorted out in handcuffs.
